Engineers: A. van der Schoot, G. van der Schoot, D.J. van der Schoot The Netherlands Broadcasting Music Center in Hilversum is fully equipped to accommodate three orchestras, as well as a large choir. The first studio was built in 1931 and in 1995 it was taken into use by the Netherlands Broadcasting Music Center.

MCO1 is the second largest studio of the Netherlands Broadcasting Music Center and home of the Netherlands Radio Chamber Philharmonic. It is famous for its acoustic qualities and suitable for rehearsals and recordings of ensembles that may vary from a few people to a complete symphony orchestra. Numerous recordings for radio, television, LPs and CDs have been made here.
