The Luxor Theatre offers drama, dance, shows, music and musicals, and is particularly well known for all the cabaret it presents. 2006 it presented more than fifty cabaret performances, lots of musicals and also cabaret and drama in english. Luxor has a number of beautiful halls and foyers, a theatre bar and numerous other areas.

These samples are of the main auditorium which has an air of 'red plush', and sounds large while heavily damped.

Aram used 4 DPA 4006 omnidirectional microphones and a genelec 1037 to play back the sweeps.
