Grünewaldsalen, restored in 1994, is a stunningly beautiful chamber music hall recognized in many recordings. It was named after its decorator Isaac Grünewald (1888-1946) who was an artist taught by Matisse, and a sought after stage designer in the 1920's. The hall has 460 seats.
Recorded using 4 DPA 4006 Omni directional microphones and a Genelec 1032 monitor to playback the sweeps. |
