Part of the AES31 standard, this file format contains MPEG 1 layer II data.. It is in fact an extended WAVE file. Extra chunks provide in amongst other a description. The description can be entered in the conversion definition window. Most radio broadcast systems can directly import this file.

Broadcast Wave Linear PCM (uncompressed, input & output)

Part of the AES31 standard, this file format contains Linear PCM uncompressed Data. It is in fact an extended WAVE file. Extra chunks provide in amongst other a description. The description can be entered in the conversion definition window. The file is used as an extended cross platform interchange for high quality audio. 8, 16, 24 and 32 bits integers cna be stored.

SMPTE timestamps are mantained for easy conversion to Post Production projects from solid state field recorders.
