In this set are mono to stereo IR's, but also the first mono to mono IR's available for Altiverb. All of these combine wonderfully with stadium or room presets.

Football Stadium in America inc. PA - 659 KB

Dick Magger put his sweeps through the horn loaded PA system of a football stadium (that we cannot use the name of) effectively sampling both its PA and its acoustics. Mono to stereo.

Indoor Arena in America inc. PA - 3.1 MB

Dick Magger strikes again, this time in an indoor ice hockey arena. The quality of the PA system of this venue is much higher than the one in the Football Stadium. Mono to stereo and mono to quad samples made with DP3, ti-book, mobile-IO and handheld C414's.

Frykeruds Kyrka, Sweden - 2.9 MB

Bengt Nilsson sent us a nice set of mono to stereo and stereo to stereo samples of this pretty medium sized church in Sweden.

First Christian Science Church - 2 MB

The First Church of Christ's Scientists is approximately 120 X 80 X 50 feet. It's interior consists of wood and plaster with minimal damping material. Submitted by Todd Zimmerman.

Hangar Studio - 615 KB

John Baccigaluppi from Tape Op magazine submitted this stereo to stereo Impulse response of the Hangar Studio, Sacramento, to accompany their Altiverb review. For the sample a Genelec 1031A on the front edge of the fed two Earthworks TC-30's set up 20 feet from the stage, into Millenia Media HV-3 Mic pre straight into DP.

Drawing Room - 1 MB

B. Groenekamp swept this gigantic reverb. The concrete basement is only 30 by 25 feet, but the 20 odd drawing boards that are set up at various heights and angles partly explain the exceptional length of the decay.

Former Brothel - 1.2 MB

Four locations in this former brothel were submitted by Hans Oster from the Netherlands.The hollow elongated bike cellar, the spacious brick wall ping pong room, the tight concrete piano basement, and the dance instruction room.

Oxygenhose submitted this bunch of samples from an unknown reverb plug-in. He adds:

Blake Eiseman writes: I have a two-story living room which actually has a pretty nice room sound to it. I've always thought it would make a great drum room. Two Earthworks TC30K omni mics were placed as high as the stands would take them, in opposite corners of the room.The decay is a little over one second long.
