Altiverb 5.4 (or higher) is required for the IR's on this site.

Many installers downloadable from this website contained impulse response names that were not compatible with the Windows XP platform.
This, and other cross platform compatibility issues have led to an upgrade of the complete contents of this site.

As of the release date of the PC version, May 29 2006, this ensures that:

  • You can transport your projects between mac and pc platforms. without loosing Inserted IR's.
  • Mac and PC owners can download and use the same installers.
  • New Mono-in to Mono-out IR's are included in every downloadable set.

A requirement is that you upgrade to Altiverb version 5.4 (free for all version 5 users). The installers downloadable from this site will only function in Altiverb version 5.4 or higher.

If you do not want to upgrade your Altiverb prior to version 5.4, but you do need IR's from this site, you can send email to info@audioease.com, requesting the IR Installers of your choice. New spaces, released after May 30 2006, will no longer be released in the old format for Altiverb prior to version 5.4.
