| Tail on/off- when switched off no tail can be heard. Intended for efficiency purposes when using Altiverb as a 'solo-stage positioner'. | ||
| Building a stage with multiple instruments
When the Tail, or both the tail and the Early Refs are switched off, Altiverb can still be used as a track insert to place an instrument on stage.( Via the Stage positions tab). Without Tail and early refs, the impulse response is very short, Altiverbs takes very little CPU and you can insert Altiverbs on many tracks simultanously, effectively giving each instrument its own position. |

| When the outputs of the tracks (the placed instruments) hit the master bus, you can insert an Altiverb there without the direct sound (Direct Sound Gain turned down all the way), or perhaps even without Early Refs, leaving only the tail. You can now use wet/dry mix on the Master Bus Altiverb to create a nice balance between the placed instruments and the tail. | ||
